My love for cooking started young, inspired by family meals, firehouse feasts (shoutout to my firefighter dad!), and the joy of feeding people. By age 9, I was whipping up multi-course dinners like it was no big deal.
Then in 2015, everything clicked. I picked up a National Geographic, and instead of just reading about wildlife, I found a story about food trucks. It hit me, food trucks weren’t just kitchens on wheels; they were freedom, flavor, and family rolled into one.
That spark turned into Frankly Smoked — a food truck and catering biz rooted in my Texas and Oklahoma heritage, now smokin’ up Phoenix with slow-cooked BBQ, handcrafted rubs, and a whole lot of heart. Every detail matters, from the wood we use to the time we take.
Today, I’m building a legacy and passing it on to my kids, one plate at a time.
